302 type screw sludge press machine

The 302 sludge screw press is one of the many models of sludge screw press. It is mainly used for sludge dewatering treatment, and its model number may be related to certain specific specifications or performance parameters of the equipment. Generally speaking, different models of sludge screw press may have differences in processing capacity, external dimensions, power, and other aspects.

In terms of processing ability

The TNW302 sludge screw press processes approximately 4-6 tons of sludge per hour. Due to differences in the parameters of the sludge inlet, the specific amount needs to be determined based on the type of sludge.

Structural characteristics

Spiral shaft and ring: Like other sludge screw presses, the 302 sludge screw press has a spiral shaft and fixed ring. The spiral shaft slowly rotates under the drive of the motor, pushing the sludge forward. Its surface may undergo special treatment to enhance wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The fixed ring is wrapped around the spiral shaft and cooperates with the spiral shaft to compress and filter the sludge. The spacing design between the rings is crucial as it affects the degree of sludge dewatering and the processing efficiency of the equipment.

Chassis: Chassis is the outer shell of a device, which serves to protect internal components and support the overall structure. Chassis is usually made of high-quality metal materials, such as stainless steel, to ensure the robustness and corrosion resistance of the equipment. There are feeding ports, discharging ports (including mud cake outlet and filtrate outlet), and observation windows on the chassis. The observation window facilitates operators to observe the real-time treatment of sludge inside the equipment.

Drive system: composed of a motor and a reducer. The motor provides power for the rotation of the screw shaft, while the reducer is used to adjust the speed of the screw shaft. The appropriate rotational speed is crucial for the smooth transportation and effective dewatering of sludge. The power of the motor should match the processing capacity of the equipment to ensure stable operation and smooth sludge treatment.

Workflow characteristics

After entering the sludge screw press from the feed inlet, the sludge first enters the concentration zone. In the concentration zone, the sludge is pushed by the spiral shaft, and the water begins to seep out initially. As the sludge moves towards the dewatering zone, the pitch of the spiral shaft decreases, and the gap between the rings also decreases, increasing the squeezing force on the sludge. More water is squeezed out, and the moisture content of the sludge continues to decrease. Eventually, a sludge cake is formed and discharged from the sludge cake outlet, while the filtered water is discharged from the filtrate outlet, completing the entire process of sludge dewatering.

Application scenarios

Municipal sewage treatment: In urban sewage treatment plants, sludge generated from domestic sewage can be treated. For example, in medium-sized sewage treatment plants with a daily sewage treatment capacity of tens of thousands of tons, the 302 sludge screw press can be used as one of the sludge dewatering equipment to efficiently treat sludge in conjunction with other equipment.

Industrial wastewater treatment: suitable for sludge dewatering after wastewater treatment in industries such as food processing, papermaking, printing and dyeing. Taking food processing plants as an example, when dealing with sludge containing a large amount of organic matter generated during food processing, the 302 sludge screw press can effectively reduce the moisture content of the sludge, making it easier for subsequent sludge treatment and disposal.
