Selection and requirements of flocculant for multi-disk screw press

 

The multi-disk screw press is a new type of sludge dewatering equipment, which must rely on the amount of flocculation to achieve effective sludge dewatering.

1. Selection of flocculant:

For sludge with higher sludge concentration, cation is recommended due to its higher organic content. For lower sludge concentration, anion can be selected.

2. Dosing requirements for flocculants:

2.1 Flocculant ratio control: generally configured by the dosing system, the concentration is known, or pre-sampling. The adjustment of flocculant concentration directly affects the consumption of chemicals and the yield of sludge. It is necessary for the manufacturer to suggest dosing to Party B or to operate it entirely by the manufacturer!

2.2 The temperature of the mixed sludge: the temperature of the sludge will affect the hydrolysis of the coagulant. When the concentration of the sludge is low, the effect will be weakened, resulting in poor flocculation effect, which can be adjusted by extending the flocculation time. Therefore, when the dewatering system is generally used in winter, the temperature is generally not lower than 15 degrees, and the heat loss in the sludge transportation is minimized.

1. The device only needs personnel to add the PAM dry powder medicine into the storage hopper, and the follow-up work is automatically completed by the dry powder feeding screw and the automatic water inlet valve in conjunction with the liquid level to ensure the uniform concentration of the medicine, save manpower and reduce the consumption of medicine.

2. The automatic dosing device can run uninterrupted 24 hours a day. No noise, easy to manage.

3. The whole body is made of national standard 304 stainless steel, and the thickness of the plate is greater than 2.0mm;

4. The automatic air intake valve should be equipped with an electric actuator, which is connected with the liquid level gauge of the dissolving box to realize the functions of low start and high close.
