Its main characteristics are high organic content, easy to decay and odor, finer particles, small specific gravity, high moisture content and not easy to dehydrate, a hydrophilic substance with a colloidal structure, and easy to transport through pipes. Organic sludge often contains many plant nutrients, parasite eggs, pathogenic microorganisms and heavy metal ions. The sediments in the primary sedimentation tank and the secondary sedimentation tank belong to organic sludge.

The screw sludge dehydrator can efficiently treat organic sludge.

The sludge produced by the biochemical treatment of sewage has a high organic content, which is mainly due to the use of microorganisms to degrade pollutants in the biochemical treatment process, so most of the water is in the microorganisms, which makes it difficult for organic sludge to achieve solidification through simple sedimentation. Liquid separation, the use of filter press treatment is easy to block the filter cloth. The screw sludge dehydrator has a good effect on the treatment of organic sludge because it adopts a screw extrusion method to achieve sludge dewatering through the axial and radial pressure of the screw shaft.
