Service life of screw type sludge dehydrator

 

Compared with other sludge dewatering equipment, the advantages of the sludge dewatering machine mainly lie in the following three aspects: non-clogging of activated sludge, long service life and high degree of automation. Overall, it is more cost-effective.

The screw shaft, ring plate and support plate of the screw sludge dehydrator are made of 304 stainless steel. In particular, the core shaft and dynamic and static rings are the main dehydration parts of the equipment and also the main wear parts. As long as it is treated organic sludge, the sludge dehydrator can run smoothly for ten years. However, the service life of plate and frame dehydrators and belt dehydrators is only three or two years, and their main filter parts - filter cloth and filter belt need to be replaced regularly.

Theoretically, the service life of the screw sludge dehydrator can reach 10 years, but this is also based on the high requirements for the processing of screw shaft and ring piece. The screw shaft shall be fully welded and the surface shall be treated with wear-resistant coating; The flatness of the ring piece should be high. Only by adopting advanced laser cutting technology and leveling and deburring can the flatness of the ring piece be guaranteed to a greater extent.
